SRE Group appoints Sahand Holm as Group Chief Executive Officer

Taipei, October 8, 2026 – Synera Renewable Energy Group (SRE Group or SRE) today announced the appointment of Sahand Holm as Group Chief Executive Officer, effective 7 September 2026. He is responsible for the Group’s strategy, performance, organizational development, and long-term growth, and oversees the continued delivery and development of SRE’s offshore wind pipeline across Asia-Pacific.

Sahand joined SRE in 2024 and, before becoming Group CEO, led the Group’s Projects and Operations organization across the full project lifecycle, including the continued advancement of Formosa 4 and Formosa 6. He has more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector, including 14 years in offshore wind. His international career spans Asia, Europe, and the United States, and he has held leadership roles in projects representing more than 5 GW of capacity, now operating or under construction.

His experience spans project delivery, business development, strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, procurement, and the leadership of international teams. Before joining SRE, Sahand held senior leadership roles at Ørsted. Earlier in his career, he worked with A.P. Moller-Maersk and COWI. He holds an MSc in Oil and Energy Technology from Aalborg University and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
